EUROCAM Norte Inaugurated in Monterrey to Strengthen European Business Presence

The inauguration of EUROCAM Norte in Monterrey marks a significant milestone in strengthening the presence of the European business community in Northeast Mexico and deepening economic collaboration between Europe and the region.

Held under the theme “Strengthening Presence in the Region,” the initiative highlights the strategic role that European investment continues to play in the economic development of Northern Mexico. The event brought together business leaders, government representatives, and regional economic development organizations to reinforce ties between European companies and Monterrey’s dynamic industrial ecosystem.

A Platform for European Business Collaboration in Mexico

EUROCAM serves as a unified platform that brings together European bilateral chambers operating in Mexico, promoting dialogue and cooperation among more than 2,500 European companies active in the country. Through this network, the organization facilitates collaboration between European businesses, government institutions, and investment promotion agencies to support trade, investment, and industrial growth.

High-Level Panel on Regional Economic Development

As part of the inauguration, a high-level panel discussion addressed opportunities for strengthening European investment and economic cooperation in Northern Mexico. The conversation featured Hector Tijerina, Executive Director of Invest Monterrey; Jorge A. Arrambide Montemayor, Partner at Santos Elizondo; Rolando Calderon, CEO Northern Region at Siemens México; and Carlos Alberto Serna Gámez, Undersecretary of the Government of Nuevo León.

The panel was moderated by Zelina Fernández, Director of Index Nuevo León, and explored the role of international partnerships in strengthening the region’s competitiveness, industrial development, and global investment attractiveness.

Reinforcing Monterrey’s Global Investment Links

At Invest Monterrey, the organization welcomed the establishment of EUROCAM Norte as an important step toward reinforcing Monterrey’s connections with the European business community. Initiatives like this contribute to strengthening institutional collaboration, expanding trade and investment opportunities, and supporting long-term economic growth in the region.

As Monterrey continues to attract global investment and position itself as a leading industrial hub in North America, partnerships with European stakeholders remain a key driver of innovation, competitiveness, and sustainable development.
