German Delegation Strengthens Business Ties with Invest Monterrey

Invest Monterrey proudly welcomed a high-level German delegation for a business presentation, networking event, and VIP reception, marking the conclusion of a successful trade mission in the region. The event underscored Monterrey’s growing role as a strategic destination for international investment and collaboration.
 

The agenda featured keynote remarks from Anke Rehlinger, President of the Federal Council and Prime Minister of Saarland, who highlighted Germany’s commitment to deepening economic cooperation with Mexico. She emphasized the importance of building resilient partnerships between European and Mexican industries in the context of shifting global supply chains.
 


 

Héctor Tijerina, Executive Director of Invest Monterrey, presented Monterrey’s competitive advantages as one of Mexico’s leading business hubs. He outlined the city’s industrial strengths, skilled workforce, world-class infrastructure, and robust innovation ecosystem that continue to attract multinational companies seeking long-term growth opportunities.
 

The program also included insightful contributions from Daniel Nájera of Pérez Llorca, who offered an overview of Monterrey’s dynamic business environment, and Thomas Schuck, who spoke on opportunities to expand cooperation between German and Mexican industries. German companies participating in the session shared their interests in the Mexican market, particularly in areas of advanced manufacturing, supplier integration, and industrial collaboration.
 


 

The event concluded with a B2B networking session, providing a platform for German and Mexican business leaders to exchange ideas, identify synergies, and explore concrete opportunities for collaboration. These interactions further reinforced Monterrey’s role as a hub for nearshoring and global supply chain integration.
