Invest Monterrey Concludes European Trade Mission Across Germany, Sweden and Denmark

Invest Monterrey concluded a two-week trade mission across Germany, Sweden and Denmark with a delegation of its member companies. The agenda connected participants with European businesses and economic development organizations while presenting Monterrey as a destination for investment, partnerships and expansion. Activities took place in Frankfurt, Stockholm, Malmö, Copenhagen, Erfurt, Hannover, Stuttgart and Munich.

Business Connections Across Three Countries

The mission began in Frankfurt, where the delegation participated in Automechanika and a “Doing Business in Mexico” seminar. The combination of industry events and direct meetings gave members opportunities to discuss market prospects with European companies and introduce the capabilities of Monterrey’s business ecosystem.

The delegation then traveled to Sweden and Denmark for meetings in Stockholm, Malmö and Copenhagen. These visits extended the mission beyond Germany and created additional opportunities to build relationships with companies interested in Mexico and the wider North American market.

A Focused Agenda in Germany

During the second week, Invest Monterrey organized activities in Erfurt, Hannover, Stuttgart and Munich. In ThĂŒringen, the delegation met with companies and participated in a joint seminar. In Hannover, members attended IAA Transportation 2026, while the Stuttgart and Munich agendas included business meetings and networking activities with potential partners.

A second “Doing Business in Mexico” seminar took place in Munich. Together, the seminars, trade fairs and individual meetings provided different settings for members to present their services, learn about European companies’ plans and explore areas of potential cooperation.

Strengthening Relationships with Established Investors

The itinerary also included Aftercare visits to Rosenberger and GĂŒntner, German companies with operations in Monterrey. These meetings offered an opportunity to maintain relationships with established investors and better understand their experience and plans in the region.

By coordinating a full agenda across three countries, Invest Monterrey helped its member companies access international conversations that can lead to lasting business relationships. The mission closed with new contacts, stronger ties with companies already present in Monterrey and a broader platform for future collaboration between the region and Europe.
