Invest Monterrey Wraps Up Business Talks Japan 2025
Invest Monterrey successfully concluded Business Talks Japan 2025, co-organized with JETRO and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mexico. The event brought together leaders from the Japanese business community, including companies already established in Monterrey and representatives from across Mexico.

As part of the program, participants toured the Centro Roberto Garza Sada (CRGS) building, a modern architectural landmark designed by Tadao Ando, showcasing Monterrey’s innovation and infrastructure. Gabriel Chapa, Honorary Consul of Japan in Monterrey, also attended, lending added prestige and insight to the discussions.

The agenda featured panel discussions with Japanese companies operating in Monterrey, such as Sumitomo and Nidec, alongside key partners including JA del Río, Baker McKenzie, Human Quality, Holland & Knight, Citius AG, and UDEM. The highlight of the event was a keynote by Katsushi Iwata, President of Denso Manufacturing Mexico, who shared DENSO’s success story in the region.
Business Talks Japan 2025 concluded with a dynamic networking session that fostered collaboration, idea exchange, and opportunities for new partnerships between Japanese firms and local industry stakeholders. The event reinforced Monterrey’s position as a prime destination for international business and investment in Mexico.
