Texas Business Leaders Visit Monterrey to Strengthen Cross-Border Collaboration
A delegation from the Texas Business Leadership Council (TBLC) visited Monterrey this week to reinforce strategic partnerships established earlier this year and to explore new opportunities for collaboration across government, industry, and academia.
The delegation included Oscar Garcia-Isita, Brandon Seale, Kaleb Warnock, and Patricia Flores Warnock, who returned to the region following TBLCâs visit in May. The meetings focused on strengthening economic ties between Texas and Monterrey, identifying areas for joint initiatives, and advancing a shared agenda for long-term competitiveness and regional prosperity.

During the visit, TBLC members met with BetsabĂ© âBetsyâ Rocha, Secretary of Economy of Nuevo LeĂłn, as well as leaders from TecnolĂłgico de Monterrey, COMCE (Consejo Empresarial Mexicano de Comercio Exterior, InversiĂłn y TecnologĂa), Invest Monterrey, and the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico. These discussions highlighted the importance of binational cooperation in areas such as investment attraction, talent development, supply-chain integration, and innovation.
The meetings underscored the growing momentum of the TexasâMonterrey economic corridor and the role both regions play as strategic partners within North America. Participants emphasized that continued collaboration between public institutions, private companies, and academic organizations is essential to building resilient value chains and fostering sustainable growth.
