Invest Monterrey wraps up a successful participation at FAMEX 2023

With the objective of promoting the state of Nuevo Leon as an attractive destination to invest and do business, as well as to highlight the importance of the aerospace industry in the state, the Invest Monterrey team completed a successful participation in FAMEX 2023, the Event of the most important aerospace industry in Latin America.

 

The Monterrey Aerocluster, an association with a triple-helix model dedicated to promoting the aerospace industry in the state of Nuevo León, led a delegation made up of different members such as Frisa, Tecmaq and Jaiter, as well as the associates of Invest Monterrey Ocalta, Prodensa and BancoBase.

 

The repeal positions the state of Nuevo León as a highly attractive destination for companies in the aerospace industry, both national and international, achieving important meetings in which specific information was shared through printed, digital and multimedia promotional material.

 

 

In its 2023 edition, the country invited to FAMEX 2023 was France, with the participation of more than 20 companies from this European country, leaders in the aerospace industry. The event was held at the facilities of the new Santa Lucía Airport, and there were important personalities from the Federal Government such as the Secretary of Foreign Relations, Marcelo Ebrard, and the Secretary of Economy Raquel Buenrostro, as well as the French ambassador in Mexico, Jean-Pierre Asvazadourian, who participated during the inauguration of the event and the ‘France Pavilion”.

 

Dozens of embassies from leading countries in the aerospace industry participated in the event, such as the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, Canada and Hungary.

 

As part of the activities within FAMEX 2023, multiple seminars, panels and conference cycles were held with the participation of company executives and representatives of the Federal Government, as well as GE Aerospace, Airbus and SAFRAN.

 

In addition to productive meetings with potential international investors and organizations from the aerospace industry, there was the opportunity to be in constant contact with important personalities such as Margarita Alcántara and Gibran Briones, representatives of the Federal Government, to discuss the importance of Nuevo León in attracting of foreign investment.

 

In the same way, communication was held with important companies such as the French SAFRAN, which has more than 19 production operations in Mexico.
