Chinese Yanfeng celebrates ribbon-cutting ceremony in Monterrey

Yanfeng, the Chinese world-leading automotive supplier, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its second manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

 

The $23 million USD investment project is destined to manufacture the seating structures for conventional and electric vehicles. Yanfeng is expected to produce 800,000 seats per year, creating more than 800 jobs.

 

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, headed by the Governor of the State, Samuel Garcia, Mingjun He, Vice President of the company, highlighted that the geographic location of Nuevo Leon and the highly productive workforce were key factors in the company’s decision to keep growing in the state.

 

The Secretary of Economy, Ivan Rivas, emphasized the significance of these investments in Nuevo Leon,”We are proud that companies like Yangfeng find in Nuevo Leon the conditions to continue expanding their operations.”

 

Yangfeng  has 55,000 employees worldwide and operates in over 20 countries, including Germany, China, the United States, India and Japan.
