Ryder Expands Logistics Footprint in Monterrey With New Strategic Complex

Global supply chain and logistics provider Ryder Mexico announced the opening of a new logistics and distribution complex in the Monterrey metropolitan area, adding significant capacity to its northern Mexico operations and reinforcing the region’s role as a strategic hub for cross-border supply chains.

The new facility adds approximately 54,000 square meters of industrial space to Ryder’s existing logistics footprint in Mexico, marking the company’s sixth location in Nuevo León. The expansion is part of Ryder’s growth strategy in northern Mexico, responding to rising demand for warehousing, freight handling, and distribution services among companies operating near the U.S.–Mexico border.

Strategic Logistics Infrastructure for Cross-Border Trade

The complex includes:

– A 21,000-square-meter multi-client warehouse equipped with more than 25 loading docks
– A 33,000-square-meter cargo yard designed for oversized freight and high-capacity handling

Operational capacity to receive and dispatch up to 100 freight units per day, supporting efficient turnaround and logistics flow for customers in Mexico and North America.

To ensure efficient integration with international supply chains, the new facility complies with key certifications such as CTPAT, OEA, and IMMEX, reflecting high standards in security, customs compliance, and export-oriented operations.

Confidence in Monterrey’s Logistics Ecosystem

The expansion underscores companies’ confidence in Nuevo León’s dynamic industrial environment, supported by steady growth in manufacturing activity and proximity to major U.S. markets. With this investment, Ryder Mexico strengthens its capacity to serve sectors including automotive, industrial, consumer goods, and retail, while supporting nearshoring and cross-border logistics solutions.

Ryder’s continued investment reflects its commitment to expanding its presence in Mexico and enhancing operational flexibility for its customers amid evolving global supply chain demands.
